Week 49 Compilation Board!
Week Forty-Nine in a snapshot 🙂
343 Days down, 22 to go…
Day 243 – Cashmere Fairy
I cut the silhouette of today’s fairy in plain white paper using my craft knife before placing it onto my new Cashmere scarf.
Day 328 – Bubble Painted Fairy
Created by using an old favourite technique of bubble painting, I put paint and washing up liquid in various cups, blew bubbles into the cups before dabbing the page onto the bubbles.
Once dried, I cut out the shape of today’s fairy.
Day 321 – Wooden Decoration Fairy
Created by pyrography on a Christmas decoration.
Day 318 – Seaweed Fairy
Created by arranging some seaweed on the wet Winter beach in Devon.
Day 317 – Stocking Fairy
As we are preparing for the upcoming festivities, I arranged our Christmas stockings into today’s fairy.
Day 316 – Ceramic Heart Fairy
Using pastel coloured ceramic paints and a sponge, I created the background (with a bit of texture). I then painted the silhouette of today’s fairy in black with a small paintbrush.
Day 307 – Oat Fairy
Today’s fairy has been arranged using porridge oats on a black leather background.
Day 306 – Conical Fairy
Created as an alternative Christmas Tree Topper, today’s fairy was made using some preprinted card. I drew on the wings with a glue stick and dotted some spots on the dress before sprinkling some glitter onto the glue. I stuck the dress together into a conical shape using double sided sticky tape.
Day 298 – Shrinkles Fairy
Using an old fashioned technique for today’s fairy, I coloured in the fairy design on the Shrinkle paper before putting it in the oven for a couple of minutes. It shrunk considerably and is really quite solid!
