Day 329 – Microwave Puff Paint Fairy
I started by making microwave puff paint in four colours and putting into three . I drew the wings before adding the dress, skin and hair.
I “cooked” this in the microwave for 30 seconds and it puffed up!

Raised Salt Fairy
Day 106 – Raised Salt Fairy
This is a new technique that I have just come across but it is actually really simple with effective results. Essentially, you draw your design with liquid glue (I used PVA), and then you coat the glue with normal table salt. Once I shook the excess salt off the page, I put droplets of watercolour paint on the salty outline and what you see above is the result!
