Week 52 Compilation Board!!!
Week Fifty-Two in a snapshot 🙂
364 days down, 1 DAY TO GO!!!
Day 364 – Paper Scroll Fairy
My penultimate fairy!
I have used paper scrolls to create todays fairy – this was not as fiddly as I thought it was going to be.
I cut numerous strips of red paper and proceeded to fold, wrap and weave the paper around itself before sticking them onto some pink card using all purpose adhesive glue.
Day 361 – Staple Fairy
Today’s fairy has been created by stapling some staples onto paper to create the outline of a fairy before attempting to build it up and layer the staples on top of one another to create the dress outline.
Day 346 – Ink Sketched Fairy
Drawn freehand using a black fineliner straight onto some plain paper. I did not draw a pencil outline, hence the less-than-perfect proportions.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a close-up fairy so wanted to focus on her face for a change.
Day 243 – Cashmere Fairy
I cut the silhouette of today’s fairy in plain white paper using my craft knife before placing it onto my new Cashmere scarf.
Day 299 – Paper Snowflake Fairy
Today’s fairy has been created by using the paper snowflake method for the wings (using sheet music). I then cut out a separate silhouette for the body out of plain paper.
Day 295 – Dispersed Ink Fairy
This is a bit experimental!
I drew today’s fairy in pencil on a piece of paper before using some felt tip pens on a plastic surface; spraying the ink with water and rubbing the wet inked plastic surface onto the pencil drawing. I drew over the pencil drawing in fineliner.
I quite like the effect of the ink dispersed on the page.
Day 278 – Blindfolded Fairy
Drawn with a coloured biro on some white paper whilst blindfolded. This was a lot more tricky than I envisaged that it would be but I’m actually pleasantly surprised how fairy-like it looks.
Day 233 – Milly Molly Mandy Fairy
Inspired by an old favourite from my childhood library, I couldn’t resist my own take on Milly Molly Mandy as a fairy!
