Day 29 – Cut-Out Fairy

I used to do this to pages in my coursework sketchbooks for GCSE and A-Level – I would cut out one edge of the page in a shape that was relevant to the subject/artist. In this case it is, of course, a fairy.

I cut this out of an iridescent card blank using my craft knife and cutting mat. It looks as though she is trying to hide from someone.
