Day 156 – Glue Fairy
I used my glue gun to draw the outline of today’s fairy freehand. I glued this onto the plastic glue gun case, before peeling it off.

Raised Salt Fairy
Day 106 – Raised Salt Fairy
This is a new technique that I have just come across but it is actually really simple with effective results. Essentially, you draw your design with liquid glue (I used PVA), and then you coat the glue with normal table salt. Once I shook the excess salt off the page, I put droplets of watercolour paint on the salty outline and what you see above is the result!

Frog Fairy
Day 94 – Frog Fairy
I made this frog fairy to celebrate my cousin’s birthday today. She has always loved all things froggy!
I cut the shape out of cardboard then covered it in gold star decopatch paper and PVA.

Crumpled Tissue Fairy
Day 13 – Crumpled Tissue Fairy
Today’s fairy is composed of numerous tiny balls of tissue paper that I crumpled up into tiny balls and stuck, using glue, inside the silhouette drawn in pencil. I like the different texture.
