Week 43 Compilation Board!
Week Forty-Three in a snapshot 🙂
301 days down, 64 to go…
Day 299 – Paper Snowflake Fairy
Today’s fairy has been created by using the paper snowflake method for the wings (using sheet music). I then cut out a separate silhouette for the body out of plain paper.
Day 214 – Novel Fairy
Cut from a page of a book using my craft knife and placed on our coffee table.
I had this idea months ago but, as a serious book lover, I didn’t have the heart to tear a page from any book. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when I received this page stapled to my bill at a quirky cafe. A new definition of recycling.
Day 116 – Skull Fairy
In a nod to the 10th anniversary of the start of Noah Scalin’s Skull-A-Day challenge (which inspired me to do this in the first place!) I tried to add a fairy twist to the occasion.
I had a mini decopatch skull which I painted using acrylic paints inside and out. I chose to paint dancing fairies around the circumference, with toadstools too, of course.
