Created by cutting a silhouette of the profile of a fairy using scissors on some red and silver foil. Placed on our laptop to add a bit of texture to the background.

Created by layering up several shapes cut from an interior design magazine and a fashion magazine.
I tried to get the background to look like a landscape.

Cut from a playing card using scissors. I preferred the reverse of the card – I cut one of the joker cards but the image doesn’t really look obvious that it is a joker on the reverse.

I tried carving a different silhouette initially but it looked more like a ghost than a fairy…
