Day 298 – Shrinkles Fairy
Using an old fashioned technique for today’s fairy, I coloured in the fairy design on the Shrinkle paper before putting it in the oven for a couple of minutes. It shrunk considerably and is really quite solid!

Day 295 – Dispersed Ink Fairy
This is a bit experimental!
I drew today’s fairy in pencil on a piece of paper before using some felt tip pens on a plastic surface; spraying the ink with water and rubbing the wet inked plastic surface onto the pencil drawing. I drew over the pencil drawing in fineliner.
I quite like the effect of the ink dispersed on the page.
Day 288 – Thanksgiving Fairy
To acknowledge the Thanksgiving celebrations today, I have drawn today’s fairy purely out of harvest foods and traditional Thanksgiving dishes. I used my coloured pens with black fineliner for the details.
Day 287 – M&M Fairy Today’s fairy has been arranged using sugar coated chocolates bought after a trip to M&M World in London.
Day 280 – Stained Glass Fairy
I completed today’s fairy by drawing on a sheet of acetate using permanent marker and colouring in the stained-glass-style outline using colourful permanent marker pens.
Day 267 – Day of the Dead Fairy
To recognise the celebration of the lives of passed loved ones, I have painted a Day of the Dead fairy. I drew a basic outline before using watercolour paints to add colour.
Despite some of the paints running/bleeding into one another, I like the effect. Once the paints had dried I used a black fineliner to add the detail.
Day 263 – Stripey Fairy
Drawn freehand using a purple felt-tip pen on some colourful stripey tissue paper.
Day 256 – Sugar-Coated Fairy
I arranged a selection of colourful sugar-coated aniseed sweets on the marble chopping board.
